The Foundry Thousand Oaks

I was lucky enough to find The Foundry when looking for a place to start my yoga journey. The studio is so nice on the inside. It's always kept clean, and the ladies' locker room is great as well. The instructors I've had so far have been so welcoming and encouraging despite my struggles. They let you go at your own pace, which I love because I don't feel overwhelmed when I can't keep up. Plus, they have all been kind enough to check on me if I have to step out of class because I'm still adjusting. They offer different types of classes, and the staff are happy to explain the difference in each one and what to expect. I'm looking forward to trying more classes and improving with each one!

Since starting my yoga journey 3yrs ago, at this studio, there have been many transformations.. I’ll start with the change of ownership. Brandon and Courtney are truly inspiring, as I’ve watched their business and family grow, all I can say is, wow, that’s the American dream! The studio is beautiful with a wide variety of classes based on customer feedback, there’s attention to detail and no doubt that they are, an eco-friend. As for transformation within myself, I feel the benefits of this practice are immeasurable. Combining traditional 26-2, with flow, barre or hitt, then balancing that with yin classes, has completely changed my outlook on every aspect of life. Everyday, I am grateful for the people in my life and things my body can do, as well as, the mental stability generated from practicing on a regular basis. I admit, I was a skeptic, generally quick to scoff at any notion of inner peace but I also used to drink a lot so inner peace wasn’t really attainable. It was only after I quit drinking that I discovered hot yoga, or any yoga and began my journey. Today, the fact that I’m in the best physical shape of my life, is only an added bonus.. the value of good mental health, becoming present, mindful, patient and persistent.. that is the immeasurable quality of this practice. Highly recommended for all ages, you just do what your body can do!

I am an ultra marathon runner who loves to run 100 miles+ races. The classes at The Foundry are amazing, and very effective for my recovery. I find all instructors extremely knowledgeable and dedicated. Thanks to Brandon and his staff.

I love the music in this class, if you really want to get into the flow of movement and breathing in 26&2 this is a nice class to go to. Recommend that to know poses beforehand to enjoy music more.

This is the best hot yoga studio in both LA and Ventura county hands down. Perfect temperature welcoming instructors and beautiful studio
